School Tuckshop
Our tuckshop is provided by Champion Tuckshops (part of the Libelle Group and one of New Zealand’s leading school food and beverage providers ). Their vision is to empower every learner to reach their potential through nutrition-focused, food service solutions. They have teamed up with the Heart Foundation, Fueled4Life and BioPak to provide the Eat Smart menu (see menu below). The aim is to provide children with healthy, fresh, value-for-money and environmentally sustainable food. Cold meals are served in commercially compostable packaging, made from sustainably sourced, rapidly renewable materials. Items in the warmers and on the shelves are wrapped in Natureflex Cello Bags, which are both biodegradable and commercially compostable. The cutlery is a bamboo product, and containers are made from a natural sugar cane pulp.
