A Message on Attendance

Date: 21 May 2025

We’re thrilled to share some positive news — our overall student attendance increased by 8% in Term 1! This is a significant shift and one worth celebrating. It shows the strength of our school–home partnership and the shared commitment to student success.

We know that every minute matters when it comes to learning, and it's encouraging to see more of our students in the right place, at the right time. This progress is thanks in no small part to the ongoing support of our whānau — thank you for following our attendance processes, communicating with us when your young person is away or needs to leave early, and helping reinforce positive attendance habits at home.

We will continue to monitor attendance closely and reach out when patterns emerge that might affect learning. Our priority is to work alongside families to ensure all students are present, engaged, and supported to thrive.

Let’s keep up the momentum in Term 2 — together, we can make a difference.
