This event is for Junior and Senior students
This is an all school event for our Junior High, and an optional event for our Senior High.
From this event, we select RHS athletes for WSS Zones, WBOP SS champs, and WIMS.

Uniform:
PE uniform for training and for WIMS event.
We will provide uniform (singlet) for secondary schools events.
General Info - Cross Country
RHS Cross Country Championships / School Colour Run: Friday May 1st, 2026
This event is a day of competitive running for our Cross Country champs, and then concluded with a fun component with our School Colour Run, where all students are encouraged to take part - it is a short 15 minute obstacle course filled with COLOUR. In 2026, the Colour Run will be raising money to cover our school netball/tennis courts.
Students will be selected from this cross country event for WSS Zones, WBOP SS Champs, and WIMS and AIMS events.

AIMS (Yr 7/8) Cross Country: Saturday September 2nd, 2026, Tauranga
NZSS Road Race Championships - Whanganui - 11-13 December 2026
WBOP Secondary Schools’ Championships: Wednesday
Uniform:
For intermediate school events, runners will compete in their school PE uniform.
For secondary school events, we will supply a singlet on loan.
