Whether you have played badminton socially or competitively before, we have many options available for a range of skill levels. We encourage you to come along to our Shuttle Time sessions to give it a go if you are new to the sport, or developing confidence in it.
Shuttle Time
Non-competitive: Term 1 (registrations will re open for term 2 and term 3 later in the year)
Start date: Monday 9th February
When: Monday’s 3:15pm - 5:15pm
Where: The Peak
Limit on Numbers: We do have to limit this to 60 students, and we will break these into 2 blocks of 30, meaning one group will be 3:15-4:15, and the second group will be 4:15-5:15. This will be organised at time of registration, and you will have the option to pick the time block.

Secondary Schools Yrs 9-13
Wednesday's
Grade Descriptions:
For advanced and intermediate level players • Division 1 Boys; or • Division 1 Girls.
For NEW players with no previous / very little playing experience • Division 2 Boys; or • Division 2 Girls.
• The league will begin on Wednesday 22nd April and will run until 9th July - Games from 4pm onwards. Venue to be confirmed.

• The league will begin on Monday 3rd August and will run until Monday 24th August
Tournaments 2026:
Badminton Secondary School Championships Central, Friday 31st July
Badminton Secondary School Championships Central Finals, Thursday 13th August
NZ Secondary Schools Badminton Championships and NZSS Badminton Cup (Year 9-13) - Sunday 30th August- Wednesday 2nd August 2026. Porirua.
AIMS Games - Tauranga (yrs 7-8) - 7th-10th September 2026.
Cost of these events will be your entry fee only, but you will be required to transport your own child.
