We understand that sometimes things come up; a flat tyre, a last-minute appointment, or unexpected delays. If your student is arriving late to school for a valid reason, please provide a note or contact their Kaiārahi (whānau teacher) directly. When they arrive, they must sign in at Kahui Rangatahi (Student Services) before heading to class.
If your student needs to leave school early, please email or message their Kaiārahi in advance, explaining the reason. This helps us apply the correct Ministry of Education attendance code and keep accurate records. The Kaiārahi will prepare a Leave Pass, which your student must show when signing out at Kāhui Rangatahi.
If a student attempts to leave without a Leave Pass, staff will contact home to confirm permission before releasing them.
