A Reminder About Student Behaviour

Date: 10 Apr 2024

We want to be great neighbours to Te Kete Aronui (the new library), our local businesses at Rototuna Village and beyond. Thank you for continuing to remind your young person about representing you and our kura well by treating people, particularly members of the public, with courtesy and respect.

We appreciate you checking with your student about whether they frequent Rototuna Village and/or Te Kete Aronui and it's playground and the types of behaviours we should and shouldn’t see in them. For example, making sure members of the public can move through the village and into shops easily and that our students are not congregating in doorways. Preferably, if your student rides to and from school, remind them to walk their bikes and scooters through Rototuna Village. Finally, looking after each other, speaking nicely to people and looking after the environment using rubbish bins provided (or taking rubbish home).

We know our students are generally well mannered and hope that they continue to make more of an effort to better represent you as their whānau and our school when they are out in the community at the end of the day.
