Aiden Ou (Junior High) and Ryan Achari (Senior High) were both recently selected for the RH3 Football Academy, run by Ricki Herbert.
They travelled with their respective teams to compete at the Shepparton Cup in Melbourne. Aiden with the U13 rep team, and Ryan with the U15 rep team.
This selection followed a process of being invited to a football camp, and then being selected based upon performance at the camp.
They travelled to Melbourne for a week, training and preparing for the tournament.
Aiden's U13 team were entered in the U14 category, which they won, winning the final 2-0.
Ryan's team also advanced to the final of their grade, where after a 2-2 draw at fulltime, they won on penalties (6-5)
Awesome job to you both and your teams. We know that you both enjoyed the experience and took away a lot from being involved!
