BOYS
The boys Intermediate basketball team had a busy week participating in the AIMs tournament held at Baypark in Papamoa Tauranga.
Throughout the week the boys team secured a mixed bag of wins and loses. They continued to show some strong play throughout the week, building strength to strength at each game.
Overall, the team placed 27th out of 84 teams in the tournament, which is a solid accomplishment. They should be proud of their performance and competitiveness against some tough opponents. This experience will help them continue to improve and develop as a team.

GIRLS
The Intermediate Girls' basketball team had an awesome week away at AIMS. They showed positivity throughout the entire tournament and learnt to grow quickly as a unit, especially with a few new faces joining the squad.
Despite facing tough competition over the first couple of days, the girls kept their heads high. They got themselves a well-deserved victory along with two narrow losses that reflected the girls' determination to give everything on the court. The encouragement they showed one another was brilliant, and the sing-alongs in the trips to and from the venue were close to pitch perfect!
Each and every member of this team should be really proud of the sportsmanship and positive attitude they displayed across the tournament. They always worked together and made sure that AIMS was an enjoyable experience for all.
