Thursday evening saw the opening of the RSHS 'Bright Futures' art exhibition at Artspost, showcasing senior students' painting, drawing photography and sculpture. It is a prestigious achievement for students to have their work showcased in a professional gallery, and we are grateful to Julie and the team at Artspost for this opportunity.
The show was facilitated and curated by Year 13 student Preet Kaur, along with Arts Leader Sudhir and Arts Coordinator Vicki. Thank you to our fantastic art teachers Kay, Judy and Franda for supporting and encouraging students. Ka pai and congratulations to all our new exhibiting artists!
Thank you also to Miranda (our Principal), Maggie and the beautiful McDonald family for making the evening special to the students with your presence.
We appreciate all parents and caregivers who came along on opening night. The exhibition is open until 3 June, we encourage all friends and whānau to pop in and take a look. Entry is free.
