Students will need to arrive directly to Porritt Stadium and head home from there. There is a reasonably safe cycling route along Wairere Drive. They should aim to arrive by 8:30am and the day will conclude at 3pm.
Dressing up in Hapū colours is encouraged, otherwise school PE gear can be worn.
Rural Bus students will be transported from school to Porritt Stadium by bus. There will be a small number of school vans shuttling students from school to the stadium for students who absolutely cannot make their way there. They will need to be at school by 8:30am.
For families planning to take a long weekend to make the most of Waitangi Day on Tuesday, we will mark students as 'Explained (Unjustified)' which is the Ministry Code for any absence that is not bereavement or medical, which we are happy to do.
