Flynn was selected to represent Waikato for Badminton at the New Zealand Wisden & Slazenger Cup, held in Auckland from 4–6 June.
The Wisden and Slazenger Cups are New Zealand’s premier annual inter-association badminton team competitions, bringing together the country’s top senior players to compete over three days. Organised by Badminton New Zealand, the event showcases the highest level of domestic team badminton in the country.
Over the three days, Flynn played 11 matches against some of New Zealand’s leading players, making a valuable contribution to the Waikato 2 team’s campaign.
A fantastic effort from Flynn and a great achievement to compete at this level, helping Waikato 2 finish 4th in the Slazenger Cup. Congratulations on representing Waikato and performing so strongly on the national stage! 👏🏸💙💛
