From 30 June to 6 July he was in Wellington on a school sponsored trip for New Zealand Model United Nations, and during that time visited Te Papa Museum.
The Gallipoli: The Scale of Our War exhibition was incredibly moving and really touched his heart, so finding out that he’ll now have the chance to experience that history in Türkiye is very special.
The prize includes an 11-day guided tour across Türkiye and the opportunity to attend the Anzac Day Dawn Service at Gallipoli in 2026.
Richard is extremely grateful and excited to represent our community on such a meaningful journey. He wish him all the best for his trip and the future!
