Reasons for sign up might be:
needing help with a specific subject
needing support navigating NCEA
needing support juggling workload across multiple subjects
Tutoring can occur either face to face (after school) or online. Once students have signed up, a tutor will be allocated as they become available and they will be in contact directly to negotiate a time. Most tutoring will be 1-1 however if there is a demand the tutoring may be offered in small groups if the request is of a similar need and groups can sign up together e.g. a study group.
If you know of a former student who would like to act as a tutor please email Mark - [email protected] - to express interest and specify the subject area/s they would be confident to tutor in. This would be a paid fixed-term position.
