This year the Girls' First XI Football Team travelled to the Football Nationals in Nelson, a premier tournament that truly tested their strength, teamwork and football skills.
As a young, developing side, the team showcased remarkable potential throughout the week. Despite facing numerous challenges, including injuries and tough competition, their resilience and determination were inspiring.
Each match brought valuable lessons, and although they finished in 28th place, the growth they experienced as a unit was evident. This tournament was a significant stepping stone for them, and with the skills and insights gained, they’re poised for continued development and success in the future.
