We are so excited for the basketball season at Rototuna High Schools this year, with a lineup of awesome teams across the board, things are looking strong! At RJHS, we have had no shortage of keen and enthusiastic players sign up to be part of what is certainly going to be an exciting season. This year we will have eight Year 9-10 boys teams, three intermediate boys teams and two girls teams who will all be taking to the court in inter-school competitions. On top of regular weekly games and training, our premier teams will be preparing for this year’s WIMS and AIMS tournaments, as well as sports exchanges, such as the Albany exchange which has just gone. We are also excited to announce the D-League competition for Year 7’s and 8’s that starts tonight! This will run on Friday afternoons from now for 8 weeks in The Peak, and provides an awesome opportunity to anyone who is interested in developing their skills, or perhaps just wants to play socially with friends. If you are keen to sign up for for the Development League please let us know as soon as possible!
