9A - Netball Season Update 🏐💜
After a challenging start to the season that saw the team move down a grade, the 9A girls have bounced back with determination, securing several strong wins and showing real growth in their overall performance.
Over the weekend, they faced a tough opponent in Hamilton Girls’ High, with the final score 30–20 in favour of Girls’ High. While it wasn't the outcome we were aiming for, there were plenty of positives to take from the match.
Our defenders held their ground brilliantly, pulling in multiple rebounds and applying constant pressure. In the shooting circle, our girls found their rhythm under pressure and worked the triangle effectively, with strong support from the midcourters 💪.
As we look ahead to the finals — where a rematch with Girls’ High could be on the cards — the focus will be on sharper drives and smarter decision-making. Exciting times ahead! 🙌
Well done, girls — onwards and upwards! 🌟
