Senior B Team
Saturday started out foggy and cold, but the sun soon heated up for a couple of hot games for the Senior B team this week.
Amazing work on the court from the whole team, leaving their first opposition scoreless in the first quarter.
Our defense was on fire with deflections and intercepts. The ball flowed through the midcourt in straight lines as practiced. And our shooters finished it all off, working together in the circle.
The girls then hit repeat for their second game, and we came away with two well-won games!
With good wins for all three of the grading games, the Senior B's are looking to have a great season filled with fun, support, and team spirit. 🌟🔥🙌
Intermediate Prem
Kicking off the season with heart and determination!
The Intermediate Premier netball team took to the court on Saturday against a strong and well-drilled Maeroa Intermediate side.
With only their second game together, our players showed promising flashes of teamwork and skill throughout the match. While the final score didn’t go our way, the team’s resilience and fight right to the final whistle was a real highlight.
We’re excited to watch them grow, build their connections, and develop their game as the season unfolds. Best of luck for the rest of the season, team! 💪🏐🙌
Taupiri 10A
A strong start to our season!
Our first two grading games against Hauraki Plains College and HGHS Seymour really challenged us and helped shape us as a team moving forward.
These games pushed us to adapt to different styles of play and tested our ability to stick to our game plan — just as we expected.
Taupiri 10A showed impressive teamwork, positive energy, and perseverance — exactly what we aim for in matches like these.
For us, becoming great netballers means having fun, supporting each other, and staying focused on the game. That’s the mindset we’re taking into 2025. Let’s go, Taupiri 10A! 💪🏐💚
Kauri 7
They had an awesome game in the fog against Fairfield Intermediate on Saturday, winning 19-13. A very close game with great team work and some great intercepts from the team. The girls in the shooting space had to adapt to having a very tall defender in there, using bounce passes to get closer to the goal. Can’t wait to see how the rest of the season goes! 🙌🏐🌟
