Our young athletes were tasked with the job of defending the shield and it was a fantastic day with plenty of sporting action our students can be proud of!
Our Boys Football, Boys Futsal and Mixed Hockey teams had some great wins while our Boys and Girls Basketball, Rugby, Netball and Girls Football had some great games but went down on the scoreboards.
This resulted in Papamoa being deserving winners on the day 5-3
A lot of these teams now look forward to week 8 where they will participate in AIMS Games in Tauranga before challenging and winning back the shield next year from Papamoa!
