WTA Fonterra Trip
Wintec Trades Academy's Mechanical Engineering student, Rishi, recently gained invaluable firsthand experience at Fonterra, including a visit to their main Hamilton plant. This incredible opportunity provided him with a deep dive into their operational systems and processes, giving him insights into how the skills learned on his course can be applied across diverse roles and industries.
Study101 Sessions
The Pathways Team proactively supported our Year 13 students in Week one by hosting Study101 presentations focused on their 2026 career and study transitions. These informative sessions detailed degree planning strategies, the variety of New Zealand tertiary institutions, the workings of Studylink, and foundational budgeting skills for their future. The excellent attendance underscores the relevance and value of this initiative for our students.
