Other exciting highlights from our Wednesday space:
Jack Oliver (Puna Wānanga Dux 2024) had another exciting meeting with a community partner in regards to his project around restorating the bike track. Aquaholics have agreed to come and at least help restore the track to a usable state, while Jack continues to find sponsorship to upgrade the entire area completely. Pahl Kumar, Preet Kaur, Heer Tailor are organising an event to celebrate Holi. Their goal is that through this event, and others celebrating the different cultures within our school, students will feel more comfortable and connected to our environment which is essential for wellbeing. Alongside this, in the words of Pat Wadors 2: “When we listen and celebrate what is both common and different, we become wiser, more inclusive, and better as an organization.”
