This is a competition that runs each year, and it pushes students to use their quantitative analysis skills to solve a complex problem which involves gravimetric and titrimetric techniques. This year Chasey Raundel Ermac, Pahl Kumar, Mahika Raina and Simran Simran took on the challenge! The highlights for the team were the practical aspect of the competition, the challenge of weighing out substances to 0.1 milligrams and representing the school. They came away with T-shirt prizes from the afternoon chemistry quiz.
We encourage year 12 students to consider putting their names forward next year and take up the challenge!
