This year the Senior Premier Netball team stepped up into the Saturday Open Women’s grade and have had a strong start to the season.✨
After a busy preseason filled with tournaments, fitness, and trainings, the team came into grading ready to compete. In week one, they faced Uni Gold and came away with a 29–29 draw. The girls played right through to the final whistle and gave it everything they had.
In week two, they took on Allied HOB Premier Reserves and secured a well-deserved 26–23 win after an intense final quarter.
On the weekend, the team played their final grading game against Hamilton Girls’ High Premier Reserves in another tough battle. Unfortunately, the score didn’t go their way, going down 33–26, but the girls put out an outstanding performance and left everything on the court.
The team has a big season ahead — come down and support them on Saturdays! 🙌
