Term 1 summer sports get underway almost straight away so it is important you have registered through our Kindo system. Trials have been advertised on Schoology for those wishing to do so. If you do not register you will not be able to play! Kindo has been extended until Feb 10th for most sports, but if you think you have missed out, please email us at [email protected]
The RJHS Athletics Day is scheduled for Monday 17 February at Porritt Stadium. More information will come out regarding this, including run sheet for the day, in this coming week, however some key things to note:
Students are expected to meet at (8.30am) and be picked up (3pm) from Porritt stadium.
Rural students will be transported via a bus from RJHS when their bus arrives at school.
If you are unable to arrange your own transport to and from Porritt and are not a rural student, please use this Transport link. Please only use this if you have no other options as space is extremely limited.
RHS Swimming sports will occur on February 27. If your child is interested in competing in these events at Waterworld please fill out this form.
Our partnership with New World Rototuna continues to be amazing. With your help we were able to raise over $20,000 for our sporting programmes in 2024. This money enables our students to have access to amazing resources whilst also reducing financial barriers a lot of our families face. If you have not yet filled out your club card information please do as soon as possible here and keep swiping! You will still receive all your usual clubcard rewards.
We will continue to recognise all students who play a sport in 2025 through our tiered system. These awards are achievable for anyone at RHS and are based around your activity in sport throughout your schooling years. 1 year in any sport representing RHS (regardless of what level) will enable you to be recognised with a RHS Bronze Sporting Award, 3 years for Silver and 5 years for Gold, and 7 years for Diamond! We are excited to be able to recognise all of our amazing students so keep an eye out on our Facebook page (Rototuna High School Sport and Recreation), Instagram page (rhssport), and Schoology for more information on how to apply for these soon!!
