Right time, Right Place “Every Minute Matters”

  • Students are expected in their class every minute of the day.

  • Students should have at least 90% attendance taking into account some sick days each term.

  • Expect to start seeing a weekly attendance report for you to see your students' attendance, this will be introduced in the next few weeks.

Our Choices Make an Impact “Away for the Day”

  • Students need to be prepared to have their phones away for the day.

  • Phones needs to be left at home or turned off and in their bag.

  • Students are encouraged to join sports, clubs and other activities to keep themselves entertained. They are welcome to bring in cards, games and other wholesome (non-digital) activities from home if they wish.

We Respect Our Spaces “Show You Belong”

  • Uniform: Students are to come to school in the correct uniform every day.

  • If they cannot, they must bring a note for their whānau teacher to receive a pass. DP’s will also be monitoring in the mornings before school and asking students to replace non-uniform items with loan uniform items.

  • Shared Spaces: Students are asked to respect the shared spaces by keeping them tidy such as leaving them as they find them and placing rubbish in the bins.

  • Vandalism and misuse of property will not be tolerated.

Ready for Learning “Be Present in the Learning”

  • Our school goal is to support students to become critical, creative and caring thinkers. We believe this allows students to walk in the world with dignity, purpose and options

Our teachers work hard to plan meaningful lessons and learning experiences to meet this school goal, therefore, students are expected to embrace all learning opportunities provided by their teachers.
