A huge congratulations to Charlie Te Hira, one of our Year 13 students, who has been selected to attend the prestigious REACH Otago Scholarship programme at the University of Otago!
The REACH (Realising Educational Aspirations for Careers in Health) programme is a fantastic opportunity for twenty Māori students from across the country. Over three days, Charlie will get to experience university life firsthand on the Dunedin campus. She'll be staying in residential colleges, attending lectures, and meeting current students, all while exploring the many degree options available, especially in the health sciences.
We are incredibly proud of Charlie's achievement and know she'll make the most of this invaluable experience. This is a wonderful step towards her future career goals, and we can't wait to hear all about it when she returns.
