Workshops and tutorials will be occurring in Week 1 (Wed 8 Oct), Week 2 (Wed 15 Oct), and Week 3 (Wed 22 Oct) of Term 4 (in place of Puna Wānanga). The aim of the workshops / tutorials are for finishing internals / portfolios or preparing for external exams.
Teachers will be communicating to students and parents when they are required to attend. There will be a schedule of workshops and tutorials being offered and this will be available on Te Hīnaki from Friday 19 September.
A supervised study space will also be available each block.
All students should be attending tutorials/workshops or study for each of these Wednesdays for the first 3 weeks of Term 4 and a roll will be taken.
An individual schedule that your student works out with their Kaiarahi (Advisor) will come home prior to Wednesday 8 Oct.
Final assemblies and Iwi celebrations will be on Tuesday 28 October. Exam leave will begin on Wednesday 29 October. However, we will still have many students attending further workshops and tutorials until NCEA exams begin on Tuesday 4 November.
