They also have an online store which can be found here.

We are excited to announce the following additions to our RJHS school uniform:

  • The school blazer will be available for all Junior High School students. When surveyed, 50% of our students indicated they would wear a blazer. Although the cost of the blazer is higher than other uniform options, blazers have significant longevity and can usually be on-sold when your child has finished wearing it to recoup some cost.

  • Full length skirt (to the ankle)

  • Long sleeve option on the girls’ blouse

  • School branded lava lava

  • 7/8 length black exercise tights as a girls’ PE option

  • Female cut shorts

  • Female cut long pants

Based on feedback from students and whaanau, we have made design changes to:

  • Polo shirt

  • Skirt

  • PE shirt

  • Hoodie

There will be a transition period where existing stock of all uniform items are phased out and are replaced by new uniform pieces. For all of 2026, all existing or new RJHS uniform items can be worn by all RJHS students. From 2027, all new students will be expected to purchase and wear new uniform items. Existing students can continue to wear all items until they need to be replaced. Should you have any issues in outfitting your student in correct uniform during the transition period, there are a few options available:

  • There is a selection of uniforms available second hand from our school reception.

  • You could hold off purchasing warmer options until needed e.g. once winter starts.

It is a timely reminder that all students should only be wearing PE uniform on days they have a Health & PE (HPE) class. This includes the uniform tracksuit pants. On days a student does not have an HPE class, they should be in regular uniform, and should not be wearing tracksuit pants.  The shoes that are to be worn with our regular uniform are fully black (including the soles) or fully white (including the soles).

We encourage whaanau to ensure they have enough uniform items, especially shirts/tops to get through the week, allowing for laundry days. An increasing number of students are coming to school without uniform shirts mid-week citing that their only uniform shirt "is still in the wash".
