With any major change like this, there will always be a transition period in which systems are not running as efficiently as planned. We would like to thank everyone for their patience, and especially those who took advantage of the 2 weeks that the uniform store was based at school for fittings and ordering. This was arranged for your convenience, and to make the busy start to the school year a little less hectic. We also appreciate those of you who have been in touch sharing the issues they have had with new uniform items or in the purchasing process.
We want to reassure you that we are working closely with Uniform Group to try and resolve as many issues as possible. We are committed to supplying a quality uniform, through a convenient and reliable process. We would like to provide the following updates:
The length of the new knee-length skirt is longer than we had designed. It was supposed to sit between mid-thigh and the top of the knee, with a large enough hem to be lengthened if needed. Current stock has been removed from the store. Sample skirts will be hemmed to the lengths originally agreed on, supplied to the school for approval, and once approved stock will be adjusted. We will be in touch soon to discuss options for skirts that have already been purchased.
Jackets will be in stock by the end of this week
The lavalava design has been finalised and will be in production soon
It is important to note that UG (the U Shop) are selling existing NZU uniform items at a reduced cost on behalf of the school, and that there are inconsistent quantities of different items, at different sizes, as supplied by NZU. With the last minute flurry of orders the week before school started, some items sold out more quickly than the website was able to be updated. We apologise for that.
Orders can still be placed online and delivered to school for easy pick up from reception. Please ensure you selected the shop item 'School Pick Up'. It is the very first item at the top left of every uniform page on the website.
