We are excited to announce a blood drive happening on October 17th, exclusively for teachers, parents, community members and Senior High students! This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community while staying within the school premises.
Details:
Date & Time: October 17th, from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Location: Large Theatre/Te Rangimareikura
Who can come to donate?: Teachers, parents and community members (students must be 16 or older to donate)
Registration: Sign up using the Google Form below. All registered donors will be contacted by NZ Blood to schedule a specific time, but walk-ins are also encouraged!
Check-In: All community members and parents must sign in outside at the signup point before entering the theatre. Students and teachers are encouraged to use the outside entry to the large theatre, but are not required to sign in.
Support Person: Donors are welcome to bring a support person.
Free Food: Complimentary food will be available for donors only, non-donors will have to purchase food.
Raffle: Each donor will go in the draw to win a raffle basket with the help of our generous sponsors.
Trained medical professionals will be on-site to assist with any questions and ensure a smooth donation process.
Additionally, a guest speaker will be presenting at the Puna Wānanga showcase on September 25th to provide more information on the importance of blood donation as well as any general information.
