Last week, we took 13 RHS students to compete in the Waikato / Bay of Plenty Secondary Schools Champs at Mangatarata in the Hauraki Plains.
Our athletes shone on a genuine cross country course, with steep inclines and descents, mud, a stream crossing, and including a section called "heartbreak hill" 😂
They all battled and kept going, giving everything they had with some notable top 20 finishes:

Victoria Burgess - 17th Senior Girls
Crystal, Victoria, Jahan, and Kupa also competed in Wellington recently to race in the NZ Secondary Schools Cross Country Champs.

Kupa Siciliano - 127th - Junior Boys
Crystal Burgess - 33rd - Senior Girls (1st Waikato runner home)
