On Tuesday 31st March our boys and girls teams battled it out with other Intermediate teams at the annual WIMS Ultimate Frisbee tournament.
Over half of them were playing the sport for the first time!
Our boys team were awarded Most Spirited team for their sportsmanship and positive attitudes! 👏🏽
Zeppelin was awarded joint MVP winner 🥇 for the girls division, and Dominic was 3rd place 🥉 in the MVP rankings for the boys division. Outstanding achievements!!!
A massive thank you to Mike Phillips for coaching the boys team and Yr 12 student Luca Tuapawa for coaching the girls team. We simply can't make these events happen without our volunteers!
Thank you also to the parents and families that came down to support with cheer and encouragement, and by fueling the teams with food and drink!
