The Altrusa Award is given to a Year 8 student each year based on the following criteria:
- Courtesy
- Attitude and initiative
- Sportsmanship
- Community work
- Scholastic achievement/improvement
Teachers nominate students and then voting takes place.
The Award is sponsored by the Altrusa International Club of Hamilton and will be presented at a ceremony on Wednesday 23 October at 3.00 pm in the Chartwell Room, Hamilton Gardens.
