Your student’s kaiarahi will check in with your student about why they are wearing incorrect uniform. Students’ names may be passed on to our Kaihautū to have follow up conversations.
Kaihautū may issue your student with a temporary pass if there is a genuine need and no alternative is able to be found (i.e. loan uniform unavailable).
Non-regulation items will be swapped out for uniform if possible. The non-uniform items will be held by the Kaihautu or SLT for the day, and can be collected to take home at the end of the day.
If needed, home contact will be made to bring in uniform, or students sent home to change. To avoid this, please make sure you have conversations and follow up with your young person about wearing correct uniform.
